As much as we love eggs, sometimes we’re just in the mood to guzzle our breakfast! This Green Dream Smoothie is the perfect compliment to our morning coffee, giving us energy and keeping us full [well, almost—is that really a thing?] until lunch.
Smoothies make a great on-the-go breakfast option. Our Green Dream Smoothie is packed with ingredients making it creamy and dreamy. *CUE THE HEART EYES EMOJI* With the combination of almond milk, almond butter, and banana, your coworkers might need to snap you out of a daydream! We love a high-protein breakfast, so the addition of collagen peptides here was a no-brainer.
Another thing we love about smoothies is that they are extremely tweak-able. I have an affinity for sweet (ya win some, ya lose some), so I’ll opt to add the Stevia, while Taylor will leave it out. Maybe you are prepared AF for the week ahead and you have frozen bananas on hand, so you’ll use one of those and just a couple of ice cubes. You know what they say… “You control your smoothie destiny.” They say that, right?

Green Dream Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 [overflowing] cup kale
- 1 banana
- 1 scoop collagen peptides; we used Vital Proteins, found here.
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 handful ice cubes
- 1 packet/liquid drops/etc. Stevia, optional for added sweetness
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to blender.
- Blend on high until smooth.
Yield: 1 smoothie
